OASIS ROYALE – A RICE FOR THE PEOPLE, BY ONE OF THEIR OWN

 

There was a time, not too long ago, when a young Liberian boy went to bed hungry.

He grew up during the dark days of the civil war when food was uncertain, when survival was not guaranteed, and when a simple plate of rice meant everything. Like many others, he knew what it meant to struggle… to hope… and to dream of a better future.

 

By God’s grace, that young boy was given a second chance at life. He left his homeland as a refugee and found his way to the United States, where he worked tirelessly for many years. Through discipline, sacrifice, and determination, he built a life, saving every dollar he could, always with one dream in mind:

To return home and make a difference.

 

When he finally came back to Liberia, his heart was full of hope. But what he discovered broke him.

The same struggle he once lived through was still there.

 

Families were still suffering. Mothers were still choosing between feeding their children or meeting other basic needs. And the price of a basic Parboiled Rice had become a burden. At $14 to $17 for a 25kg bag, it was simply too much for many ordinary people.

 

He could not accept it.

So instead of turning away, he took action.

 

He partnered with fellow Liberians and invested millions, working directly with rice plantation owners, farmers, and producers in India and Thailand, to produce something different:

A high-quality, protein-rich parboiled rice made specifically for our people.

 

That is how OASIS ROYALE Parboiled Rice was born.

 

Today, OASIS ROYALE is not just rice—it is a mission.

 

A mission to reduce prices, to restore dignity, and to ensure that no Liberian or Sierra Leonean family goes to bed hungry because they cannot afford food.

 

We have already begun that journey, bringing prices down to less than $13 per 25kg bag, and we are not stopping there.

 

Our goal is clear:

To reduce the price to as low as $10 per bag—if given the right support and cooperation by the people and its government. 

 

Because this is not just business.

This is personal.

 

This is about a son of the soil who remembers where he came from… who understands the pain of hunger… and who is now standing with his people to change the story.
